Blue bonnet

The famous blue bonnet of the Highlands… in the diameter you want.

The blue bonnet is a symbol of Scottish identity all by itself. It is often decorated with a white cockade, symbol of belonging to the Jacobite cause, the faithful to the cause of the Stuarts in the 18th century.

Tam O' shanter

The beret with pompom is called a Tam o’ Shanter, named after the poem by Robert Burns.
The pompom, on the other hand, is called torrie.

For my part, I have always had a clear preference for large Tam o’Shanters like those worn by soldiers in Scottish regiments during the two great wars. They are nicknamed doo-lander (literally, landing strip for pigeons!).
