Kilt measuring chart

Please make sure someone else is taking your measurements; it will be so much easier AND so much more accurate.

instructions

A: Waist – Take your waist measurements 3 cm above the navel wilts wearing a shirt.

B: Hips – Measured at the widest area.

C: Length – Return to where you measured your waist, 3 cm above the navel. From this point, measure down to the middle of the knee.
NB: This includes the “rise” of a kilt, i.e. the height from the waist line to the top of the belt.

    D: Chest girth
    E: Jacket height
    F: Back
    G: Sleeve length (bent arm please)
    H: Kilt height

    Please also indicate the size of clothes you usually wear
    (either in numbers or S, M, L, XL…)

      4: Length of dress from shoulder down to hem
      5: Length of dress from waistline down to hem
      6: Sleeves length (please measure with folded arm)
      7: Back (please measure with arms crossed over chest)
      8: Chest height (from shoulder to breast tip)
      9: Biceps (contracted muscle)
      10: Neckline from shoulder to desired cleavage
